Growing up, I frequently fantasized about attending Oxford University and trotting around the city’s coffee shops. Between the ages of 8 and 14, I guess you can say I was a coffee-connoisseur hipster before my time.
I jest. This is a hipster-free space.
Opened in 2009, the coffee shop is located in the heart of Oxford city.
Inspired by the coffee scene in Australia, founders Olly and Vicky hoped to expand that culture in their own city.
The Missing Bean prides itself on "sustainable production and a friendly and relaxed atmosphere" where they "carefully source beans from around the world."
