Get ready to be entertained! With a bevvy of new cruise shows — plus a show so good, we sent it for a run on dry land — Brilliant Lady’s North American itineraries are here to provide the change of pace you’ve been craving this year.
You may have heard — there’s a new kid in town (kid being “ship,” and town being “North America”). Our Brilliant Lady is hitting New England this fall and, along with her spate of gorgeous autumnal itineraries through the Northeast and Canada, she’s arriving with a wave of exciting new entertainment.
We’re upping the ante on cruise entertainment
Virgin Voyages is already swimming in awards for cruise entertainment from USA Today, Travel Weekly, & more trusted travel publications — but we didn’t let that stop us from raising the bar. This slate of new shows — developed with valuable Sailor feedback in mind — broadens our offerings and guarantees a pastime for every taste (and every night you spend on board). More than a dozen happenings and events are coming your way, including:
- Up With a Twist - This all-new dinner show is a supper club for the adventurous. Dine elegantly while a live band, dancers, & world-class vocalists put a modern spin on vintage tunes — and stay ready, because the end of the show changes every night, according to choices made by you.
- Red Hot* - A celebration of the Virgin brand and the playfully rebellious spirit of its founder. Expect thrilling choreo, hits from Virgin Records artists, & gems from the label’s video archives.
- Out of Time* - Take a wild ride through time, from the Paleolithic era to the roaring 20s and into a far-distant future. Song & dance transport you through this musical-comedy race to fix a busted time machine!
- Duets - A classic sit-on-a-stool-and-sing event. Soak in the ambiance of the world’s best-loved duets, newly arranged in jazz style — without losing their original Motown, classic rock, or contemporary flavor.
- Electric - Virgin Voyages’ take on a glow party, complete with neon clothing & UV-reactive everything. Join the jellyfish parade, smear on some face paint, & take pics in a special glowy photobooth.
- Scarlet Night…reimagined - It’s a Sailor favorite, the signature evening on every itinerary we sail, a night that brings everyone on board together in celebration of the collective experience we’re taking part in. Now, we’re updating Scarlet Night to give you new choreography, new songs, and new moments to share together.
- More shows to be announced - At the risk of seeming overly theatrical, some things we’re going to have to wait to reveal. Watch this space.

This lineup isn’t just a one-time reveal. It’s a revolution. So we crafted an absurdist time-travel musical, a murder mystery that makes you a part of the action, a gameshow starring the Happenings Cast, & more diverse and sophisticated offerings that complement the undefinable ambiance of our voyages. And don’t expect a curtain call anytime soon — the evolution continues, as we keep setting out to prove that Virgin Voyages evolves with you, not just for you.

The Virgin brand has high production quality in its bones, thanks to its Virgin Records origins — and Virgin Voyages is no different. One of the reasons Sailors love our adults-only ethos is that it allows us to keep things on board somewhat high-concept. The shows we develop for sea are done in collaboration with some of the world’s hottest producers and theatrical minds. The result? Shows that win awards across the industry and even earn such high praise, we send them to land — like we did with Duel Reality, our dazzling Romeo & Juliet retelling set in the frame of a circus spectacular.
Safe to say, Brilliant Lady will be no different. Well, she’ll be somewhat different, in that every new show on board has been created specifically for her and won’t walk the plank to other ships in our fleet. But the attention to detail and quality Sailors love and expect from our onboard entertainment will remain consistent.
